Personal Data

According to Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR, personal data are all information relating to an identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, the name, address, customer number, telephone number and also the IP address. In summary, any information about natural persons who can directly or indirectly identify the person is to be regarded as personal data.

Accordingly, you will be informed in this way about the way in which personal data is processed on our homepage.

Data collection and processing

The purpose of processing and collecting data on our website, in addition to ensuring safety, is to provide information on the subject of differentials and other drive components as well as general information about the company.

During processing, we pay particular attention to the necessity and proportionality in accordance with Art. 5 GDPR Beyond this, personal data will only be processed in accordance with Art. 6 of the GDPR

Your data will be transmitted by yourself when you contact us via our contact forms in order to find out about our range of products and services, job opportunities in other company-related matters.

In addition to voluntary transmission, your data is also transmitted automatically. For example, metadata such as the IP address, browser type and version, operating system used, data volume transmitted, time and date of access and referring URL are transmitted to our web servers when you visit our site. The collection of data is essential for the provision of our websites and the storage of data in log files for the operation of our websites and is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR The servers on which these websites are operated are located in Germany. We have concluded a corresponding order data processing contract with the server provider.

The IP address is made anonymous by a shortening, so that an identification of individual users is not possible at any time. Your data will be used in anonymous form for statistical purposes and to analyse user behaviour. This ensures that our offers are always up-to-date and tailored to your needs.

The IP address is automatically deleted after 7 days. If there is a security incident, for example cyber attacks or repeated login attempts in the admin area, we store the data longer.

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. However, the deletion or blocking of the data is prevented if we as the responsible party have to comply with corresponding commercial or tax storage obligations. This is the case, for example, if we have to process accounting-relevant data and store it for 10 years in accordance with § 147 Para. 4 AO.

When using service providers, we have concluded an order data processing contract (ADV) with our service provider on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR to ensure that your data is handled in compliance with the law. Our service provider processes on our behalf in accordance with instructions. Thus the responsibility for the proper data processing remains with us.

Also in these cases, your data will not be passed on to third parties, unless we receive your consent, or processing is subject to a legal obligation.

This information is only used by the respective personnel managers of Drexler Automotive GmbH and exclusively in the context of the application procedure and for the purpose of processing your application. The legal basis for the processing is § 26 BDSG, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b. GDPRand Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

After completion of the application procedure your documents will be deleted after a period of 6 months. An exception to this is when we have to comply with a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (c).

The feedback comment function gives you the opportunity to tell us your opinion, ideas and suggestions regarding our website, our service and our range of products and services. Processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In addition to the voluntary, independent information, the IP address, date and time of entry, browser type and version as well as the operating system are also transmitted during the sending process. This processing is carried out to combat spam on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f.

Google Inc.

A transfer of personal data to a third country (not an EU Member State) only takes place in connection with the use of Google services. Under data protection law, such processing in a non-EU Member State must first ensure that it complies with data protection requirements. This is given by Google's participation in Privacy Shield. For this reason, an appropriate level of data protection can be assumed at Google during the processing of personal data. The individual Google services are described below.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable us to analyse the user behaviour on our websites. As a rule, information generated by the cookie (browser type/version, operating system, websites visited and the length of stay, previously visited website) is transmitted to the USA and stored there on Google's servers.

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR. We as website operators have a legitimate interest in analysing the behaviour of our users on our websites. Such an evaluation helps us to optimize our website and the user-friendliness of the website.

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. However, this will reduce Google's IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The IP address will be reduced within Member States of the European Union or other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use.

As already described in the section Cookies, you can prevent the storage of cookies in the settings of your browser. Thereafter, parts of the functions of this website may fail.

In addition, you have the option of blocking tracking by Google Analytics on our website. Please follow the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Another alternative is to install an opt-out cookie on your device. Click here to install this cookie in your browser.

For more information we would like to refer you to the page of Google Analytics:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR. Thus the responsibility for the proper data processing remains with us.

This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google Account ad preferences or opt-out of Google Analytics collecting your information as described in the "Opt-out of data collection" section.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps from Google Inc -1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This processing is carried out within the meaning of Art. 6 1 letter F DSGVO and represents a legitimate interest of those responsible.

For more information, see the Google Maps Terms of Use at

https://www.google.com/intl/de_en/help/terms_maps.html

Through Google's participation in Privacy Shield, an adequate level of data protection in the processing of personal data can be assumed despite a transfer to a third country.

Google Ajax & jQuery Bibliotheken

We use the so-called Ajax & jQuery technologies on our site in order to be able to call corresponding program libraries from Google, so-called CDN (Content delivery network). By using Ajax and jQuery we hope to optimize the loading speed. This can happen, for example, if a user has already used Google CDN on another page and the browser accesses the cached copy. If this is not the case, the browser will download Google CDN and send data and browser information to Google. We would like to inform you that a transfer to the USA could be submitted. Further information can be found on the websites of the providers or at: https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/#jquery

Google Web Fonts

External fonts, the so-called Google Fonts, are used on these Internet pages. Google Fonts allows us to present the fonts on our web pages in a uniform way. When you access the website, your browser loads the web fonts into your browser cache. These web fonts are integrated by a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. For this purpose, we transmit to the server which of our Internet pages or subpages you have visited. This gives Google the IP address of the visitor's browser. This processing is carried out within the meaning of Art. 6 1 letter F DSGVO and represents a legitimate interest of those responsible. For more information, please see Google's privacy policy:

https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq

https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

The use of Google services constitutes a transfer of personal datato a third country (USA).

According to data protection law, a privacy-compliant handling with the data when processing it in a non-EU Member State has to be eunsured.

As Google is on the Privacy Shield List, we can assume the privacy-compliant processing of personal data.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA from Google Inc. for sufficient data security when transferring your data through forms. This ensures that the entries in our contact forms are made by a natural person and not by an automated program. This in turn prevents misuse of your data (e.g. SPAM or automated spying). For this reCAPTCHA analyzes - in the background - the behavior of the web page visitor on the basis different characteristics. Among other things, the IP address, data about mouse movements and previously visited websites are transmitted to Google. In order to maintain the quality and security of our website, the use of reCAPTCHA is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO.

The use of Google services represents a transfer of personal data to a third country (USA). Under data protection law, data processing in a non-EU member state must be handled in compliance with data protection regulations. Because Google is on the Privacy Shield list, we can assume an adequate level of privacy in the processing of personal data.

Integration of videos - Youtube

In the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers, we embed some videos of the page Youtube operated by Google, in accordance with Art 6 Par. 1 letter f, in our websites and social media pages. When you play or visit this site, your data will be stored on YouTube servers located in the USA (YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA).

Information about visited pages, IP address and other data about your browser type are passed on to YouTube. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, your surfing behavior can be assigned to your personal profile. If you do not wish this, you should log out of your YouTube account beforehand.

The use of Google services represents a transfer of personal data to a third country (USA). Under data protection law, data processing in a non-EU member state must be handled in compliance with data protection regulations. Because Google is on the Privacy Shield list, we can assume an adequate level of privacy in the processing of personal data.

Please refer to Youtube's privacy policy for more information on user data processing.

https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Social Media Buttons

The social media buttons previously used transfer the user data to the corresponding social networks every time a page is accessed. It does not matter whether you are logged in or even a member of the network. For this reason we use the Shariff solution of the computer magazine ct, which only establishes a direct contact between the social networks and visitors when the visitor actively clicks on the share button.

Further information about the Sharif solution can be found on the website of Heise Medien GmbH & Co. KG under:

https://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html

On this website we have used social media buttons from

Facebook Inc. (1601 p. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA)

Google Plus (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)

Twitter Inc. 900th San Francisco, CA 94103, USA)

integrated. We would like to inform you that when activating the "Like" or "Share" buttons, data will be transmitted to the respective network operator. This transmission takes place in accordance with Art 6 Para. 1 lit. a by your consent in the form of a click.

Design and programming

We use external service providers to design & program our homepage. On our behalf, our service providers work on a user-friendly and visitor-oriented design of our online offer. Our service providers are selected with regard to data protection and data security. In addition, we take appropriate data protection measures to ensure that data processing complies with the law and security regulations.  These measures include the ADV contracts that we have concluded with our service providers.

Security

We have taken a number of technical and administrative precautions to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. In order to protect your data, we have committed our employees and service providers to the applicable data protection laws.

The security of your data is very important to us. For this reason, data transmission on our site takes place without exception using appropriate encryption procedures, recognisable by the address line of the browser "https:.". This ensures that your data cannot be misused by third parties.

Rights of the data subject

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time within the framework of the applicable legal provisions. You also have the right to have your data corrected or deleted (Art. 16 & 17 DSGVO).

You also have the right to restrict processing (Art. 18 DSGVO) and the right of opposition (Art. 21 DSGVO). Furthermore, you will find further rights of the data subjects under Chapter III DSGVO, such as the right to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO). If you have any questions or require further information about your rights, please contact our data protection officer (see contact details below).

If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the DSGVO, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. For example, you can file your complaint with the Bavarian Data Protection Authority:

https://www.lda.bayern.de/de/beschwerde.html
